Research & Reference

With the knowledge of what i'm doing with my the hero piece, its now time to do a bit of research into the specifics. The creature is a quadruped with the stature most similar to that of a lion or hyena so those shall be my primary sources of reference.

I've only ever attempted a quadruped maybe once or twice before (a dog animation below I did in first year) so there's some definite research needed into how a quadruped moves. My first plan of action is to set up another Trello board and fill it with gifs and videos of lions / hyenas running about (warning, graphic content in one or two of the gifs below).
